Moving Things

Dec 25-28 Barely made it out of pajamas these last few days. All of us are loving being at home. Christmas Dinner with family + friends was amazing. Thing 2 n-e-e-d-e-d to be Batman, so he made his own mask. Found it perched in the kitchen later, where it took on more of a Monty Python vs. DC Comics feel. Broke a casserole we purchased on our honeymoon in North Carolina, 1989. Very sad, especially since we’ve taken really good care of it for all these years. Scott’s grandparents had pottery from the same studio, too. We aren’t the tidiest people; we pour our care into the handmade things and artwork that populate our days, so we were all very sad to lose this. Delightful coffee and conversation with a friend I rarely see - going to work to change that in the next year. Am thinking about taking a picture of the sky each day for next year. Another wonderful day at home in pajamas, enjoying the house and being together. Kids busy with homework and making stop motion movies. Loving the end to this year -
